Ok so I've never done a cover remake, and this technically isn't a remake because this cover has not been released yet but I was just fooling around. What do you think?? Should I try something else??

Looks good. Love the background, the font in a bit hard to read.
I like it a lot but like Elie said, the font is a bit hard to read and it's maybe a bit much for this book, but I liked it!
Nothing on the cover really pops or pulls focus. And the text is difficult to read. But the image is awesome.

Thanks for all the input everyone. I completely forgot this was a 2011 release, and i'm still working on other things, but I think i'll wait until next year to enter Princess Bookie's contest when my photoshop skills are better! :)
It's a little crowded. There's too much for the eye to look at. And the color is a bit hard to read. If it was like a shiny red then it would look really really cool with the black and white. (wishes I had photoshop *cries*)
For a first try, very impressive. From this cover I would assume that the story was very dark
