The Rise of Renegade X- Author Interview & Giveaway!

I'm thrilled to have Chelsea Campbell, author of The Rise of Renegade X, here with us today! She was nice enough to answer some questions about RRX, as well as some other things, so let's get to it.

~~~~~
Question 1: The Rise of Renegade X is an interesting mix, evil mastermind and superhero, how did you come up with the idea to meld the two together?
Chelsea Campbell: I wanted to write about a bad guy character who had to save people. That's pretty vague, but it's how I got started, and I just played with that concept until I figured out my MC was a supervillain teen. And then I decided that the worst thing that could happen to this kid was for him to find out he's half superhero and that none of his villainy dreams are going to come true.
Q2: Before you started writing did you plan on having a boy MC or is that just how it came out when you actually started the book?
Chelsea: I don't remember deciding that he should be a boy—it just came out that way. I do tend to write about boy MCs, though. I think they're more fun to drool over write about.
Q3: Outside of writing, you are a fan of World of Warcraft, and you are also a knitter. What’s another hobby of yours that isn't widely known?
Chelsea: I collect glass grapes! Okay, so I only have two bunches of glass grapes at the moment (you know what I'm talking about—those things old people put on their coffee tables), but I LOVE them. They are, like, the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I also have a set of grape lights—hanging bunches of grapes that light up—and some other grape-related items. Basically, I love grape decorations the way some people love cows or pigs or whatever.
Q4: Can you describe yourself in three words?
Chelsea: Hufflepuff Slytherin mix.
(^^^^By far the best interview answer EVER!)
Q5: Doing a blog tour like this requires many different interviews and questions. Is there a question that gets over asked, or that you are just tired of answering?
Chelsea: I think the question I get asked the most is “Is there going to be a sequel?!?!” I won't say I get tired of getting asked this, but I don't really have a good answer for it. The short answer is, no. The long answer is, maybe in the future, if the book does well enough.
